Every year, fashion designers come with various things depending on the season. The planning and production of these items happens all year round so people right now are coming up with the spring and summer collection for 2007.

One of the items that doesn’t change much are designer shoes. Maybe because it is hard to come up with designs that is why many concentrate on clothes but there are still improvements making shoppers always coming back for more.

Designer shoes are expensive. Most of these fetch for $500 or more and those who can’t afford it can just look at it every time through the store window until a promotional offer or the end of season sale comes up to get it at half the price.

Wholesale Hip Hop Fashion and Clothing
By Emma Drosy

Beginning in the 1970s Hip Hop fashion has gone from a fringe cultural group a fast moving fashion trend, particularly in the United States. The greatest popularity of such fashions tends to be along the coasts and in the larger cities. Hip Hop fashion is traced to the African American community but has quickly spread into being a universal clothing style for people of many ethnicities and genders and a mainstay of Hip Hop culture.

Generally Hip Hop clothing, retail or wholesale, is broken into two groups, classic and modern styles. The classic styles are those that were popularized in the 1970s to late 1980s. Modern styles come from the very late eighties, nineties and after 2000.

Tips for Teens: Buying Wholesale Designer Jeans to Fit Your Style
By Chris Robertson

Designer jeans come in many different styles, colors and brands. Every person's body is made differently, so finding jeans with that perfect fit is a unique experience for every shopper. Shopping online for wholesale designer jeans can be tricky as well. Teens especially are concerned with style, fit and brand name. Here are some great tips to help teens find those perfect jeans.

Finding a Good Fit

Every body is shaped differently, so the fit of the jeans is important. Jeans must fit well on the waist, hips, crotch, thighs, and around the legs and ankles. There are several different types of fit: straight leg, boot cut, hipsters, carpenter, cargo, loose fit, low rise, flared and relaxed. Most teens choose jeans for the look, but it's important that the fit is right too. Comfort and the ability to be flexible while wearing the jeans should also be a deciding factor when buying designer jeans.

The great thing about shopping online for wholesale designer jeans is teens get to choose from many different fits to find the perfect pair of jeans. Many sites that offer wholesale designer jeans have a vast selection of styles, fits and brand names at great prices. Brands such as Seven Jeans, Antik Denim, Polo, Bape, Red Monkey, True Religion Jeans, Juicy Couture, Rock & Republic and BBC can usually be found online at wholesale prices. They offer the designer jean selection every teen dreams about!

Choosing Jean Color and Style

Another focus for today's jean fashions is style and color. No longer do jeans only come in one shape and color. They are available in many unique designs to fit every personality and preference. The colors and fabrics are washed in certain ways at the factory to give them a distinctive look and feel. Here are some of the jean styles and colors available today:

*Crosshatch: Denim weave has a cross-stitch type pattern.

*Vintage: An old, worn look.

*Polished: Denim without blasts or tints, in its pure form.

*Frayed: Has tattered edges along the leg bottoms, pockets, waistline, etc.

*Whiskered: Blasts that make "cat whiskers" appear around the front fly area.

*Distressed: Have released hems and look beat up.

*Ring-spun: Brings out a vertical pattern in the denim.

*Tinted: Blasts of color such as rose or khaki.

Online Shopping Tips

Having such a great selection of jeans online makes it easier to find both the right fit and style. Check with an online mall that sells wholesale designer jeans and do a search according to the brand you're looking for. Then browse through the selection of jeans to find the right size and style. If the measurements aren't available, do an online search for the measurements of that particular brand and size. You might be able to find measurements for almost any type of jeans online. Knowing the measurements, you can buy with confidence that the jeans will fit.

Also, be sure the company you are buying from offers a return or exchange policy in case the fit isn't right when you receive the jeans.

Knowing which brand names suit you will also make it easier to shop online. Designer jeans by companies like Polo, Antik Denim, Red Monkey, Bape, BBC, Rock & Republic, Juicy Couture, Lacoste, Seven Jeans, True Religion Jeans and others will usually be consistent in the way they fit if you stay with one particular brand. Finding wholesale designer jeans online not only saves money and time, but also opens the door to a broad selection of stylish jeans.

Bargain Shopping Tips for Fashion

Wearing designer clothes, although ideal, is often not practical or possible with a limited budget. And even though they are ususally beautifully made, quality pieces, the label itself sports a heafty pricetag. So what is a not-so-rich girl to do? Here are some practical tips to consider before pulling out your wallet.

  • Don't buy an item simply because it is on sale. If it doesn't fit well, it will cost you more to have it altered than a sale can justify.
  • Don't spend a lot on trendy items that will make you look dated next season. Your money is better spent on classic pieces you will wear for years.
  • Don't shop on impulse. Unless it is something you can't live without and there is only one store with one in your size, hold off on purchasing and take some time to think it over. You will know in a day or two if it is worth spending the money now or waiting to see if you can get it on sale in the future.
  • Try it on before you buy. This may seem obvious to most but there are some who don't. If you can't take the time to try on clothes in the store, you will more than likely not return it if it doesn't work for you. A complete waste of money and space in your closet.
  • Frequent your favorite store to watch for sales. You will eventually get an idea of their schedule.
  • Stock up on basics during end of season clearances. This is a great time to purchase t-shirts for layering or jeans for casual wear.
  • Look for items that will work dressed up or down. The more veritile an item is, the more you will get for your money. Building a classic wardrobe is key.
  • Avoid buying cheaply made clothes that will fall apart after one season. This is not a good investment for your money. The idea is to buy quality pieces at discount prices.

Here are my 4 favorite ways to save money on fashion.

  1. Request gift certificates for your favorite store or boutique. Shopping for clothes with free money is like being a kid in a candy store.
  2. Check your credit card awards. Some award programs, like World Points, will give you free $50-100 gift certificates to TJMaxx, Marshalls and Macy's.
  3. Become a Geo-Affiliate. There is an online affiliate program, called Got-Zip, that tracks sales by zip code. How it works is you can purchase an annual subscription for your zip code if it has not been claimed by someone else. The fee is $19.97 and with it you would then make a commission from any trackable sale from yourself or anyone else in your zip code. Sales are tracked fron a shopping portal page created at their sister site, Pagellan. Membership is free. Sites that participate in this network include Chadwicks, Lane Bryant, Paul Fredrick, Target, and more to come. Whenever you shop, access sites from your Pagellan page and you are good to go.
  4. Buy Fashion on Ebay.

A rundown of a shopping tactic that you could try goes something like this. For example, I like to shop for clothes at Target. I usually make a beeline for the 50-75% clearance racks. When new styles come in, I watch them for awhile. When I start seeing them on the clearance rack, I will hop online via Pagellan to access the Target website and make a purchase usually with a gift card I've been saving. Not only do I get the item on sale, I also get money back from Got-Zip for the purchase I made.
